Hi, Welcome to my webpage!
I am an assistant professor at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bangalore.
Previously, I was postdoc at the University of York and my mentor was Victor Beresnevich.
Before that, I was a postdoc at the Uppsala University, and my mentor was Andreas Strömbergsson.
Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan. My mentor was Ralf Spatzier.
I finished my Ph.D. under the supervision of Anish Ghosh at TIFR in 2021.
I am interested in number theory and homogeneous dynamics, and how these two topics interact with each other. In particular, I am interested in problems in Diophantine approximation, which deals with quantitative and qualitative aspects of approximating numbers by rationals. I am also interested in understanding the behavior of a group action on quotients of Lie groups. Here is my CV.
We are organising Dynamics and Number Theory 2026, University of Sydney, Australia and Ergodic Theory, Diophantine Approximation and Related Topics 2026, MATRIX research institute, Victoria, Australia.
We organised a workshop on Diophantine approximation and related fields at York in June, 2025.
The photo on top was a view of Arabian sea from my office at TIFR. The later one is at Max Plank Institute.
