I'm a PhD student at the Department of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences (IMI), Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. By virtue of the interdisciplinary nature of this program, I am also a student of Centre for Brain Research, Bangalore. My research area focusses on applying statistical methods to draw inference on large-scale genetic data. Currently, I am working to find out genetic associations responsible for the manifestation of neurodegenerative diseases in humans using  population-based samples from Indian as well as global populations whilst factoring in other metabolic as well as environmental risks.
