Surya (Sun) is associated with harshness and fire, ruling the North, with Agni (Fire) Tatva, and symbolizing the Atma (soul) in light red/yellow colors, representing male energy. 

Chandra (Moon) is soft, governing the North-West direction, aligned with Jal (Water) Tatva, symbolizing the mind in a white hue, and representing female energy. 

Mangal (Mars) embodies the warrior spirit, ruling the South, connected to Agni (Fire) Tatva, representing courage in red, and identified as male. 

Budh (Mercury) is linked to talent and comedy, ruling the North, associated with both Prithvi (Earth) and Vayu (Air) Tatva, symbolizing willpower, with a green hue, and is considered female or infertile. 

Guru (Jupiter) is silent and wise, ruling the North-East, linked to both Agni (Fire) and Jal (Water) Tatva, symbolizing knowledge in a yellow shade, and is male. 

Shukra (Venus) represents love and art, also ruling the North-East, aligned with Prithvi (Earth) and Vayu (Air) Tatva, symbolizing lust in white, and is female. 

Shani (Saturn) is seen as wicked (Dushta), ruling the South-West, with Prithvi (Earth) and Vayu (Air) Tatva, symbolizing sadness, appearing in black, and is infertile or both male and female. 

Rahu, another wicked force, shares the South-West direction with similar Prithvi and Vayu Tatva, symbolizing sadness in brown, and is also infertile or both genders. 

Ketu is a warrior like Mars, ruling the South, associated with Agni (Fire) Tatva, symbolizing courage, appearing in soil color, and is male.
