What is your favorite thing about acting? 

Getting to work on a show with such a wonderful cast.

What do you do when you're not performing?

I play piano, clarinet, and sing in choir. I love baking and spending time with my family and friends. 

If you could swap lives with one person, who would it be and why? 

Any person lucky enough to pursue acting. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with being Mayella. 

Why should others join South Hardin theatre? 

It’s the best way to take a step out of your comfort zone and meet amazing people. 6-12 graders in the audience: I hope my next performance is with you!

What is your favorite line or prop from the musical? 

My favorite line is my line in Act 2 regarding body positivity. "Love who you are!"

What is your favorite thing about acting? 

I get to play different characters with different personalities.

What do you do when you're not performing?

I participate in volleyball, basketball, and track. I also enjoy baking when I have the time. 

If you could swap lives with one person, who would it be and why? 

I would want to swap lives with Audi Crooks to see what it would be like to be 6'3" and also to see what it would be like to play for Iowa State. 

Why should others join South Hardin theatre? 

I believe that everyone should do some type of musical performance. People don't realize how physical it is and how close you get with the other members. The thing I like most is how we have grown closer and get to see the show evolve. 

What is your favorite line or prop from the musical? 

"You're Swedish, everything's ok."

Playing characters I don't know.

What do you do when you're not performing?

I read and play games.

"Shoppin' with my mom."

I play instruments, play chess, and hang out with my friends.

I am pretty content with my own life.

The cast is super duper nice and we goof around a lot, which is very fun!

It's really fun and shows another side of yourself. You have to be a whole different person. 

What do you do when you're not performing?

I sleep and listen to music.

Tate McRae because she is my favorite singer and it would be fun to be her.

Everyone is nice and makes it fun. Also, you should join it because when you do, new paths open up!

"Blow it out your ear, barbie!"

What is your favorite thing about acting? 

I like the Oscars, meeting other actors, and how acting can lead to talking on talk shows and being in a movie. 

What do you do when you're not performing?

I dance, sing, read, and draw.

Ariana Grande because I want to sing like her and see what it is like to be a famous celebrity.

Everyone is so fun to perform with and acting is my dream. It is so fun and I want others to feel that way too!

I play sports, play music, and do lots of homework.

It's great fun, yet a little challenging! You get to meet new people that share the same interests as you do.

The plot of the story and getting to make that real.

Others should join South Hardin theatre because it is fun. You get to be yourself at the same time as you are playing a character.

I love to make people laugh and be myself on stage.

I like bible journaling and playing music.

You should join because it's such a great opportunity to see if you like theatre, to become more confident on stage, and to find lifelong friendships.

"Katherine makes a plan and we go to war, weddings are war."

Making memories with the cast.

I enjoy playing volleyball and being outside with my dogs.

I would swap lives with Taylor Swift to see what it is like performing on stage in front of thousands of people.

I'm liking the kitchen set as it's coming together!

If I were to switch lives with someone, it would probably be my older brother. I think it would be cool to see what high school is like and for him to go back to middle school.

I think other people should join the musical because it is an amazing experience and is very entertaining. It gives you something to do. My favorite part about the group of people who are doing the musical with me is that they are all very funny and I always look forward to seeing them at rehearsal.
