Should I Download Destiny 2 On Steam Or Epic Games

i recently downloaded destiny 2 on epic games and have been playing on that since that is where i got the free 30th anniversary and the dungeon does not transfer to steam. i am going to preorder lightfall, so i was wondering which platform would be best, epic or steam. is there any performance difference between the two, or is it the exact same? thank you!

Probably a bit late now ... but after the download finished on Epic store, but I spent a few hours hashing each of the folders (epic vs steam) to compare. Most of the files name did match inside the, but files seemed to have slightly different contents.

Vaguely true, the items on the account do, the content you have access is unique to each version of Destiny, for example I have all but 30th Anniversery for D2 on steam, but I have 30th only on epic, I can use the items on either versions, but if I want to do the 30th anniversery only stuff (like the dungeon) I need to play on Epic, but then if I want to go play one of the dungeons from another expac, I have to switch to Steam. This sort of system is actually very common place for multi-platform, multi-paid for content drop games, like FF14 does it as well, and Diablo 3 did it as well, Diablo 4 will probably do it once there is more paid content, etc. ff782bc1db
