ShotInbox is a Chrome extension for saving screenshots that you add yourself and organizing them with notes and tasks. This policy explains what information the extension handles and where it is stored.
ShotInbox handles PNG, JPEG, and WebP images that you paste, choose, or drag into the extension. It also handles titles, notes, tags, reference URLs, task statuses, start dates, and due dates that you enter. Image thumbnails and creation and update times are stored with the cards. Your chosen language, display time zone, task view, and whether you dismissed the early access notice are stored as settings. Images and notes may contain personal information that you chose to include.
For achievements and statistics, ShotInbox keeps a stable first-completion identifier, the title and tags at completion, the completion date (or an unknown date), the record time, and records for the first generated backup, Kanban and Gantt drag actions, and the Job collection achievement. When you create or edit a Job, it keeps snapshots of selected completed task titles, tags and dates, the Job title and reflection, its design including colors, and an independent cover image. Job update times and revision numbers are also stored.
ShotInbox does not automatically read webpages or capture your screen. It does not monitor the clipboard. It reads image files only when you paste them into the extension interface.
The information is used for image storage, search, notes, task management, achievements and statistics, Job memorial creation and export, backup, and restore. Images, cards, completion records and Jobs are stored in the extension's IndexedDB in your current Chrome profile. Language, time zone, task view, and notice settings are stored in `chrome.storage.local` in that profile. Data does not automatically sync to another device.
ShotInbox does not send your content to a developer server. It does not use analytics or advertising SDKs and does not sell or share your content with third parties. If you open a reference URL that you entered, that website may receive connection information as it would during ordinary browsing.
Information remains locally until you delete it or the extension data in that Chrome profile is removed. Moving a card to Trash keeps its data so you can restore it. Permanently deleting a card or emptying Trash removes the card and its associated images and thumbnails. Removing the extension or Chrome profile may make the data inaccessible.
Recognized completion records and Job memorials remain independent of changes to or deletion of source Tasks. Editing a Job lets you remove selected task snapshots from that Job while the source Tasks, completion and achievement records, and independent cover remain separate. **Reset achievement history** removes completion records and the backup, drag-action, and Job collection achievement records while keeping cards and Jobs. **Delete Job** removes that Job and its independent cover image. Downloaded ZIP and PNG files are managed separately by you and are not removed by the extension.
Full ZIP backups include cards, images, completion and achievement records, Jobs and independent cover images. Date-range and selected-card backups contain only the selected cards and images. ZIP files are not encrypted. You are responsible for storing, sharing, and deleting them. Import checks the archive, adds cards as new copies, and merges Jobs and achievement records without duplicating stable identifiers or overwriting existing records. History retained in a backup may be restored when that backup is imported.

- `storage`: Saves language, time zone, task view, and notice settings locally.
- `unlimitedStorage`: Stores the original images and thumbnails that you add locally.
ShotInbox does not request access to every website or permission to read the clipboard automatically.

ShotInbox는 웹페이지 내용을 자동으로 읽거나 화면을 자동 캡처하지 않습니다. 클립보드를 자동 감시하지 않으며, 사용자가 확장 화면에서 직접 붙여넣은 이미지 파일만 읽습니다.
위 정보는 이미지 보관, 검색, 메모, 작업 관리, 업적·통계, Job 기념 카드 생성·내보내기, 백업과 복원 기능을 제공하는 데 사용합니다. 이미지와 카드·완료 기록·Job 정보는 현재 Chrome 프로필의 확장 프로그램 IndexedDB에 저장됩니다. 언어, 시간대, 작업 보기 방식과 안내 닫기 설정은 같은 프로필의 `chrome.storage.local`에 저장됩니다. 다른 기기로 자동 동기화하지 않습니다.
ShotInbox는 사용자 콘텐츠를 개발자 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 분석 서비스나 광고 SDK를 사용하지 않으며, 사용자 콘텐츠를 제3자에게 판매하거나 공유하지 않습니다. 사용자가 직접 입력한 참고 URL을 열면 해당 사이트는 일반적인 웹 탐색과 마찬가지로 접속 정보를 받을 수 있습니다.
정보는 사용자가 삭제하거나 해당 Chrome 프로필의 확장 프로그램 데이터가 제거될 때까지 로컬에 남습니다. 카드를 휴지통으로 옮기면 복원할 수 있도록 데이터가 유지됩니다. 영구 삭제하거나 휴지통을 비우면 해당 카드와 연결된 이미지 및 썸네일을 제거합니다. 확장 프로그램 또는 Chrome 프로필을 제거하면 데이터에 다시 접근하지 못할 수 있습니다.
이미 인정된 완료 기록과 Job 기념 카드는 원본 Task의 상태 변경·삭제와 독립적으로 유지됩니다. Job 편집에서 선택한 작업 기록을 해당 Job에서 제거할 수 있으며 원본 Task·완료·업적 기록과 대표 이미지는 별도로 유지됩니다. **업적 기록 초기화**는 완료 기록과 백업·드래그 사용·기념 카드 수집 업적 기록을 삭제하며 원본 카드와 Job은 유지합니다. Job과 독립 대표 이미지는 Job 삭제로 제거할 수 있습니다. 사용자가 보관한 ZIP·PNG 파일은 앱에서 삭제되지 않으며 사용자가 별도로 관리합니다.
전체 백업에는 카드·이미지와 완료·업적 기록·Job 및 독립 대표 이미지가 포함됩니다. 기간·선택 백업은 해당 카드·이미지만 포함합니다. ZIP은 암호화되지 않습니다. 파일을 저장, 보관, 공유하거나 삭제하는 일은 사용자가 관리합니다. 가져오기는 검증 후 카드를 새 복사본으로 추가하고, Job·업적 기록은 같은 식별자를 중복 생성하거나 기존 기록을 덮어쓰지 않도록 병합합니다. 백업에 남은 기록은 가져오기로 다시 복원될 수 있습니다.
