If you want a precise, factory-correct repair for loose headlights on your vehicle, choose Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting; if you need a rugged, adjustable extension bracket to mount auxiliary lights on off-road bars or grilles for hunting trips, choose JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension. These two parts serve fundamentally different purposes in the automotive world, and confusing them can lead to a frustrating installation that fails to solve your actual problem. One is a tiny, specific clip designed to hold your existing headlight assembly in place, while the other is a versatile mounting arm built to support new lighting equipment on external frames. I have analyzed the specifications of both to help you decide which one belongs in your cart based strictly on what they are built to do.
• Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting: Its biggest strength is being a direct OEM replacement for part number 6R0941511, restoring stability without tools; its trade-off is it only works as a clip for the original headlight housing and cannot be used for aftermarket add-ons. This pick is for the driver who needs to fix a broken mount to keep their factory lights aligned.
• JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: Its biggest strength is its adjustable design made from stainless steel with a powder coat, allowing it to fit various light thicknesses and attach to bull bars or roof racks; its trade-off is it is not a direct factory replacement and requires hardware for custom mounting positions. This pick is for the off-roader or hunter looking to add auxiliary LED lights to a vehicle frame.
The Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting Bracket Clip kit is a specialized solution for a very specific mechanical failure. When a vehicle's headlight assembly starts vibrating, sagging, or losing alignment, the culprit is often a cracked or broken plastic retaining clip inside the bumper or fender area. This product addresses that exact issue by providing a high-strength black ABS replacement set.
What makes this product stand out is its focus on precision and ease of restoration. It is engineered specifically to match the OE number 6R01511 (listed as 6R0941511 in the documentation), ensuring that the geometry of your car's front end remains untouched. You are not trying to force a square peg into a round hole here; these clips are designed to snap into the existing slots exactly where the original manufacturer intended. The material choice of high-strength ABS offers resistance to cracking under normal driving conditions, which is crucial because standard plastic clips often fail again due to vibration and heat cycles.
This product is ideal for the daily driver who notices their headlights shifting slightly at highway speeds or those who have noticed a gap opening up around the headlight bezel. If your goal is simply to restore the vehicle to its factory state without spending money at a repair shop, this is the correct path. However, you should skip this item if you are looking to install fog lights, driving beams, or any aftermarket lighting rig. It has no adjustability and no mounting holes for anything other than the original headlight assembly. Before buying, you must verify your vehicle's OE part number and visually compare the shape of the old part to ensure compatibility, as it is not a universal fit for all cars.

In stark contrast, the JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension Bracket is built for expansion and modification rather than simple repair. This is an extension bracket designed to adapt to various headlights of different thicknesses, making it a flexible tool for those who want to upgrade their vehicle's visibility beyond the factory limits. The construction details reveal a much heavier-duty approach compared to the plastic clips of the competitor; this bracket is crafted from stainless steel and coated with an abrasion-resistant powder coat. This combination suggests a product meant to withstand the harsh environments found in mud, rain, salt, and dust.
The versatility of this bracket is its primary selling point. Unlike the fixed-shape clip of the Shophubio, the JFGFYEF unit can be adjusted to perfectly adapt to different light sizes. This flexibility allows you to mount auxiliary lighting on a variety of surfaces, including bullfighting bars, grille-protection tubes, or even roof racks. The package includes the necessary hardware to fix the base mounting bracket firmly to the LED light itself, giving you the freedom to position the light exactly where you need the beam to hit. While the unit count is listed as one, the description notes it can be used for motorcycle and electric-bicycle modifications as well, highlighting its broad utility across different vehicle types.
This product is the clear choice for anyone planning an off-road adventure or a long night drive in rural areas, such as a hunting trip. Hunters often need powerful, directed light to spot game in dense forests or open fields where factory headlights fall short. This bracket provides the sturdy anchor needed to hold heavy LED pods or light bars securely against the torque of off-road bumps. It is not a "set it and forget it" factory part; it is a piece of equipment for customization. If you enjoy modifying your ride to look more aggressive or perform better in low-light conditions, this stainless steel bracket is the foundation you need. Just remember that because it is an extension bracket, it does not replace any factory components—it adds to them.
• Best for Factory Restoration → Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting: If your current headlights are loose or misaligned due to broken plastic clips, this is the only logical choice to return to stock specs.
• Best for Aftermarket Add-ons → JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: If you want to attach extra lights to a bull bar, grill guard, or roof rack, the Shophubio cannot do this job; only the JFGFYEF extension bracket will work.
• Best Material Durability → JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: Stainless steel with a powder coat finish offers superior resistance to rust and abrasion compared to the ABS plastic of the Shophubio kit.
• Best for Precision Fitment → Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting: Designed to match a specific OE number, it guarantees a seamless fit without requiring custom drilling or adjustment.
• Best for Adjustability → JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: The ability to adapt to various light thicknesses makes it far more versatile for different models and light configurations.
• Best for Quick Repair → Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting: Requires no complex tools or modifications, offering a straightforward direct replacement to save on labor costs.
• Best for Off-Road/Rugged Use → JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: Built to handle shockproof impacts and weatherproof conditions, making it suitable for rough terrain.
• Best Value for Modification → JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension: Provides a mounting solution that expands your vehicle's capabilities rather than just fixing a broken part.
I would buy the JFGFYEF Car Accessories Extension for my own setup if I were heading out on a hunting trip. While the Shophubio is a fantastic tool for fixing a broken headlight, it is limited to repairing the past. The JFGFYEF bracket represents an investment in future capability, allowing me to mount powerful auxiliary lights on my vehicle's protection tube for better visibility in the dark woods. Its stainless steel construction gives me confidence that it will survive the mud and vibration of off-roading, whereas the plastic clip is solely for keeping the factory lights steady. If your lights are already working fine and you just need to see better, get the extension bracket. If your lights are physically falling off, get the clip.
No, the Shophubio ABS Headlight Mounting is strictly a replacement clip for the factory headlight assembly. It lacks the adjustable mounting points and structural strength required to hold aftermarket light bars or brackets.
It is designed to be adjustable to fit various headlight thicknesses and can be mounted to common accessories like bull bars, grille guards, and roof racks. However, you must ensure you have the necessary mounting surface available on your vehicle or accessory tube.
The product information states it is made from stainless steel and coated with an abrasion powder coat specifically for years of use in the harshest conditions, suggesting high resistance to rust and weather damage.
According to the features, these clips allow for straightforward direct replacement without the need for complex tools or modifications, making them easy to install for a basic repair.
