I am Tanzib, a green energy researcher, residing in Glasgow, United Kingdom, with expertise in Finite Element Analysis and Modelling. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow, focusing on computational modelling for sustainable energy applications of Triboelectric Nanogenerators, considering surface roughness.
I also hold an M.Sc. with distinction in Nuclear Physics & Technologies from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (NRNU MEPhI), Russia, and a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic University of Technology (IUT).
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Lecturer at the European University of Bangladesh and as a Lead Engineer (FEA & Design) in R&D at HI-Tech Bangla BD Ltd.
I consider myself an altruistic, affable, and optimistic person who is passionate about fundamental research, enjoys learning new things and introducing innovative ideas. My research ambition is to conduct high-quality, impactful studies that contribute to solving real-world challenges in energy and manufacturing, along with computational tribology and experimental solutions.
Helping others gives me purpose and inspiration to live and work at my best.
