An Author and an Independent Journalist  

Shobha Sriram is an author and an independent journalist Her fiction and essays have appeared in, among other publications, The New Indian Express, The Wire, Madras Courier, Funny Pearls UK, Madras Musings, Culturico, and the NY-based Fatal Flaw Literary Magazine. The Last Sethu Queen is her debut historical novel. Shobha was a fellow with Amherst College, US. After finishing her management studies, Shobha worked as an equity researcher before moving on to top publishing houses as an editor, where she quickly developed a deep passion for writing and storytelling.
