I am a faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, where I also serve as the Chair of the Interdisciplinary Decision Sciences & Analytics Lab. With over ten years of experience spanning academia and industry, my work lies at the intersection of data science, mathematical modeling, optimization, and game theory, with applications in healthcare, natural resource management, public policy, and infrastructure planning.

I earned my Ph.D. in Management Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and hold a Master’s degree from IIT Roorkee and a Bachelor's from NIT Raipur. Before joining IIM Visakhapatnam, I worked at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and held a data scientist role at Mphasis NextLabs, contributing to machine learning platforms such as InfraGraf and HyperGraf.

My recent research includes a predictive model for COVID-19 transmission, a precision dashboard to address maternal mortality, and decision-support systems for health infrastructure and sustainable logistics. I’ve published in leading journals like Data & Knowledge Engineering, OPSEARCH, and Water Resources Management, and have presented my work at global conferences including EURO, ITISE, and the Society of Operations Management (SOM).

At IIMV, I teach courses on Operations Research, Data Science for Business, Game Theory, and AI & Machine Learning, across both postgraduate and doctoral programs. I enjoy mentoring students, collaborating on applied research, and contributing to initiatives that combine analytics with real-world policy and planning challenges.
