OVERVIEW
Tee Studio does not require an account, and we do not sell personal information. You design garments with text, your own photos and artwork, shapes and graphics, preview them as mockups, and save print files. Your projects and the photos you add are kept in the app's storage on your device. The app also uses Google services and an advertising mediation partner for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and advertising.
PHOTOS
The app does not use the camera or the microphone. When you add a photo to a design, the system photo picker gives the app only the image you pick. The app copies that image (up to 60 MB; images larger than 4096 pixels on the long side are reduced) into the project's folder in the app's storage and does not upload it. A copy that was not reduced is the original file, so any information embedded in it (such as camera details) may remain in the copy. If you use "Remove white background", the app saves the edited image as another copy in the same folder.
When you save a print file or a mockup image, the app asks for permission to add it to your photo library (on iOS this is add-only access; older Android versions ask for storage write access). The temporary file is deleted after saving. If you decline, nothing is saved and the rest of the app keeps working.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
For each project the app keeps its name (up to 60 characters), the garment type and colours, its design layers (text up to 200 characters with font, colour and effects; photos; shapes; graphics; their size and position), and the dates created and changed. There is no fixed limit on the number of projects or layers. The project list also keeps the IDs of deleted projects with their deletion times, without a limit, so that an older backup cannot silently bring deleted projects back.
The app may also store basic operating information such as an app-use count, review-prompt progress, a count of saved exports, cached advertising settings, and a cached More Apps list.
The developer does not run a server that receives your designs. The app reads developer-controlled advertising settings and a More Apps list from Google Cloud Firestore, but it does not upload your projects or photos. When you open More Apps, app icons are loaded from the web addresses in that list.
ANALYTICS, CRASH REPORTING, AND ADS
Google Firebase Analytics may process limited app-usage and technical information, such as app launches and sessions (with an app-use count), screen views, menu opens, opening More Apps or the privacy policy link, review-prompt steps, the iOS tracking prompt answer, ad events such as an app-open ad shown and ad revenue, app version, device type, and app-instance identifiers. Feature events record when you create a project (with the garment type), delete one, add a layer (its kind), use "Remove white background" (its tolerance setting), add a jersey name and number, save a print file or mockup (or why it failed), or save or restore a backup (number of parts, projects restored, missing photos). These events do not include project names, your text, colours you choose or photos.
Google Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports and related technical information needed to diagnose app problems.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may also request ads from the InMobi mediation network. Google and InMobi may process advertising identifiers and device, app, consent, network, and ad-performance information to provide and measure ads, and may use an IP address to estimate an approximate location even though the app has no location permission.
PERMISSIONS AND ADVERTISING CHOICES
The only feature permission the app requests is adding images to your photo library, as described above. It does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, Bluetooth, health data, or notifications.
When the app starts, Google's consent message (UMP) is checked first. Where it is required (for example in the EEA and UK), personalized advertising stays off unless your choice allows it. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown after that step only when Google's consent result allows tracking or could not be read; it is normally not shown if your consent choice did not allow personalized ads, and the system shows it only if you have not answered it before. If tracking is not allowed, the IDFA is not available to the app or its ad partners. If the consent message cannot be loaded, the app still requests non-personalized ads and personalized advertising stays off. The app works whatever you choose.
You can change iOS tracking permission in Settings. Where Google requires it, the app menu shows "Privacy choices", which reopens the consent message so you can change your advertising choice.
STORAGE AND YOUR CONTROL
You can delete a project in Projects; this removes its design and the photos copied for it from the app's storage. You can also clear the app's data on Android or delete the app. Local data may be included in an Apple, Google, or device backup depending on your backup settings; uninstalling normally removes the active copy but may not remove an older backup. Images you saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them.
The Backup section in Projects saves your projects, their photos and the deleted-project list as one or more files to a folder you pick (or, where no folder picker is available, through the share sheet; temporary copies are then removed from the app's cache). The app does not delete copies you saved or sent elsewhere. Restore reads backup files you pick.
Because we do not receive your designs, we cannot delete them for you; the controls above remove them from the app. For questions about data processed by Google or InMobi, or to ask us for help with a privacy request, contact us at the address below.
Data processed by third parties is retained according to their service settings and policies. We use these services under their applicable terms, and we ensure that third-party service providers with whom we share user data provide the same or equal protection of that data as stated in this policy.

SECURITY
Your projects and photos are kept in the app's private storage on your device, which the operating system protects from other apps; they are not separately encrypted by the app, so protect your device with a passcode. Apart from the limited analytics events described above, the app does not upload your saved data. Communication between the app and Google services and the ad mediation partner uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit what the app collects to what is described in this policy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Mockups are previews; printed colours, size and placement depend on the garment, the printer and the print method, so check a print file with your printer before ordering. Only use photos, logos, fonts and artwork you have the right to use and print.
CHILDREN
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
CHANGES
We may update this policy if the app or its services change. The date above shows the latest revision.
