About the Watercolor in the Header
On this undated photo of the Day room fireplace, there were three watercolors painted by Ethel Grau over the mantel. The three paintings are now very stained with fireplace smoke. The one used for the header was adjusted with Photoshop to colors closer to the original.
On the fireplace today is a fourth Grau painting of the Shinn Cottage.
