Dialogue Across Chasm: Are Psychology and Neurophysiology Incompatible? \ Marom \ Neuron (2020): To establish a genuine scientific discourse, we must accept a long due departure from the habit of neatly ar- ranging things in a hierarchy where ‘‘macroscopic’’ psychological mystery awaits explanation in terms of ‘‘microscopic’’ neural objects. Instead, a relational scientific methodology is wanted, accompanied by a dia- logic mode of conversation between the disciplines. 

A Physiological Pragmatic View of the Philosophical Debate on Freedom to Choose \ Marom \ J. Physiol (2025): Late in 2024, amidst a time of war, I found myself editing this piece, which stemmed from a lecture delivered at a local meeting earlier in the year. It is a statement on human liberty and the often-overlooked freedom embedded in our very physiology. A gentle reminder that even in such times, there remains a choice—a choice that need not include violence.
