Hello! I am an Assistant Professor of Actuarial Science in the Department of Statistics and the Department of Mathematics at Purdue University. I received my Ph.D. in Insurance Economics and Actuarial Analytics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2025, and my Bachelor of Business and Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2020. I am also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
My research interests lie at the intersection of climate risk, catastrophic events, insurance analytics, machine learning, and dependence modeling. My work seeks to develop innovative financial instruments and advanced statistical and machine learning methods to better manage the economic impacts of disasters.
