Namaste!  I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu). Prior to this, I held faculty positions as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Tirupati and in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal. Before embarking on my academic career, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the LEAP Lab at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing from the Department of Electronics and Electrical, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG). 

My research interests are primarily centred around speech and audio processing, speaker diarization, language diarization, dialect/language identification, applications of signal processing, applications of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
