# Shiftly Input Terms of Use

Welcome to Shiftly Input. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading, installing, or using the app. By using Shiftly Input, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

## 1. Parties

## 2. Service Scope

Shiftly Input is a macOS input method auto-switching tool. Its main features include:

- Matching input methods based on foreground app rules

- Automatically switching input methods

- Storing rules and preferences locally on your device

We may improve, optimize, add, or adjust features from time to time, provided that such changes do not materially impair the core functionality of the app.

## 3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Shiftly Input only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:

- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, tamper with, or interfere with the app

- Bypass or attempt to bypass technical protections or purchase mechanisms

- Use the app in any way that infringes the rights of others

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate access to relevant features where permitted by law.

## 4. Privacy

Your use of Shiftly Input is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how information is handled. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.

## 5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Shiftly Input, including its software, interface, branding, text, graphics, and related documentation, are owned by us or our licensors.

Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the app without prior written permission.

## 6. Subscriptions and Billing

Shiftly Input offers the following purchase options:

- Yearly Subscription (auto-renewable)

- Lifetime Membership (non-renewing)

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

The yearly subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account Settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You can use the "Restore Purchases" feature in the app to restore eligible purchases.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable media services terms and conditions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

## 7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiftly Input is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You acknowledge that:

- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% successful operation at all times

- App behavior may be affected by macOS updates, permission changes, or third-party input method changes

- You are responsible for backing up important configurations or data where necessary

## 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with Shiftly Input will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the app or related purchase.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

## 9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time due to product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs.

If we make material changes, we may update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of Shiftly Input after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

## 10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of Shiftly Input shall first be resolved through friendly consultation. If no resolution can be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the court with competent jurisdiction at the operator's domicile, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
