ShiftGuard is a shift planner and Pay calculator for Permanents, Trainees and Floaters/Casuals. For instructions, use How To on the relevant app page. To suggest a feature or report an issue, open Ideas, enter your name and email, select Apple iOS or Android, and write your message, then tap Send feature request. Include your app version and a brief description of the issue. Do not include passwords, banking details, medical records or other sensitive information.
Ideas sends a one-way message to app creator Troy Henderson. It is not an in-app conversation. Your email lets Troy follow up if needed. TestFlight users can also send feedback through TestFlight.
ShiftGuard is a planning aid only. Roster, fatigue and pay figures are estimates. Potential Overtime is a guide only: you must apply through your employer and receive approval before working. Saving a shift does not apply for or approve overtime. Pay estimates are not payslips or financial or tax advice. Confirm shifts, overtime, leave, rates, deductions and payroll results with your employer. ShiftGuard does not approve overtime or determine fitness for work. Follow workplace fatigue procedures. Shift alarms depend on iPhone permission and available scheduling capacity; open the app regularly to refresh coverage.

ShiftGuard is independently developed by Troy Henderson. This policy explains the app's local data, optional services and ways to request help with your information.
Your local profile, roster, overtime, leave, shift notes, pay settings, deductions, tax preferences, alarm presets and unsent Ideas drafts are stored on your device. ShiftGuard does not require an online account. The profile email identifies the local profile; entering it does not subscribe you to email or send the profile to the developer. Device backups, where enabled, are handled by your device and backup provider.
When you tap Send feature request, the name, email address, selected app platform and message shown in the form are sent over HTTPS through Formspree to Troy Henderson's email inbox. These details are used to review your request, support you and follow up about the request if needed. No roster or pay information is automatically attached. A message includes anything you choose to type into it. You can use the other app features without sending a request.
Formspree processes and stores submissions and may process technical information such as your IP address for service operation and security. Processing may occur in the United States and other countries where Formspree operates. See Formspree's privacy policy for its practices and retention arrangements. Copies delivered to the developer's email inbox are separate from Formspree's records.
Troy Henderson deletes feature-request emails once they have been reviewed and are no longer needed. Formspree submission records are subject to its retention arrangements and available account controls; deleting an email does not automatically delete the corresponding Formspree record.
Local app data remains on the device until you change or delete it, or delete the app's data. Removing the app does not delete submitted messages, existing device backups or previously exported Apple Calendar events. Backup copies are managed through your backup provider's controls.
To ask about, correct or request deletion of a submitted message, contact Troy through Ideas and state the email address used for the original request. Include only the information needed to identify it. TestFlight testers may also use TestFlight feedback. Requests concerning Formspree's own records can be made using the contact options in its privacy policy.
If you enable Sync to Apple Calendar in Profile and grant iOS Calendar access, ShiftGuard creates and updates its own events in a dedicated ShiftGuard calendar. Events can contain shift times, crew, work area and leave type. ShiftGuard uses Calendar access to find and maintain its exported events. It does not import your personal Apple Calendar events into the ShiftGuard roster. Your calendar account provider, such as iCloud where used, handles any syncing between devices.
Turning sync off and saving Profile removes this profile’s marked ShiftGuard events from its dedicated calendar. Your ShiftGuard roster, unrelated Calendar events and the calendar container are preserved. If removal fails, Profile shows a retry option. Signing out or revoking Calendar permission alone stops updates and keeps existing exports. Calendar permission can be revoked in iPhone Settings.
With your permission, ShiftGuard uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule alarms for worked shift dates. Off days and leave-only days are skipped. Alarm preferences stay on the device and are not sent to the developer. You can turn presets off in Profile or change the app's alarm permission in iPhone Settings. Coverage depends on iPhone limits and refresh opportunities; the app shows the schedule confirmed on the device.
ShiftGuard does not include advertising or an advertising-tracking SDK. The optional Ideas details are used for the request and support purposes above. The public support website is hosted by Google Sites and is also subject to Google's privacy policy.
This page will be updated when the app's privacy practices change. The effective date identifies the published policy version.
