Shieldra VPN: Fast & Secure
PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Shieldra VPN: Fast & Secure ("Shieldra VPN", "Shieldra", "we", "our", or "us"), developed by PixelzLab, handles information when you use our Android application and related VPN services.
Your privacy is important to us. Shieldra VPN is designed to provide a secure VPN connection while limiting data processing to what is reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
By using Shieldra VPN, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. VPN SERVICE
Shieldra VPN uses Android's VpnService API because creating and maintaining a VPN connection is a core function of the application.
When you connect to Shieldra VPN:
• Supported network traffic from your device is routed through a VPN tunnel.
• The VPN tunnel connects your device to the VPN server you select or to a server automatically selected by Shieldra.
• Shieldra uses IKEv2/IPsec technology to protect traffic between your device and the VPN tunnel endpoint.
• Your public-facing IP address may appear as the IP address of the selected VPN server instead of the public IP address assigned by your normal internet connection.
• Split Tunneling may allow selected applications to bypass the VPN according to your settings.
Shieldra VPN does not use Android VpnService to redirect, alter, inject into, or manipulate advertising traffic from other applications for monetization purposes.
2. INFORMATION PROCESSED TO PROVIDE THE VPN SERVICE
To establish, maintain, and troubleshoot a VPN connection, certain technical information may be processed.
This may include:
• Your IP address during connection establishment
• Selected VPN server or location
• VPN connection status
• Connection time and duration
• VPN protocol information
• Network type, such as Wi-Fi or cellular
• Server latency or ping
• Connection errors
• Technical diagnostic information
This information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the VPN service, improve connection reliability, protect the service, and troubleshoot technical problems.
3. INTERNET TRAFFIC AND BROWSING ACTIVITY
Shieldra VPN carries supported internet traffic through the VPN tunnel in order to provide the VPN service.
We do not sell your browsing activity to advertisers or data brokers.
Shieldra does not use the content of your VPN traffic for behavioral advertising.
Browsing activity may include information such as:
• Websites you visit
• Content transmitted through websites
• Messages or communications
• Files transferred through the VPN
• Application traffic content
Shieldra is designed to provide VPN connectivity and privacy protection, not to profile users based on their browsing activity.
4. IP ADDRESS
Your IP address is technically required for internet communication and for establishing a connection with a VPN server.
When Shieldra VPN is connected:
• Your device establishes a connection with the selected VPN server.
• The VPN infrastructure may process your source IP address as technically necessary to establish and maintain the connection.
• Supported network traffic is routed through the VPN server.
• Websites and online services generally see the public IP address associated with the VPN server instead of your normal public IP address.
Shieldra does not sell your IP address for advertising purposes.
5. DNS
Shieldra VPN provides DNS configuration options.
Depending on the available application settings, you may use automatic DNS, supported DNS services, or configure a custom DNS server.
When a third-party DNS server is selected, DNS requests may be processed by that DNS provider according to its own privacy practices.
Shieldra does not control the data-processing practices of DNS servers independently selected or configured by the user.
6. SPLIT TUNNELING
Shieldra VPN provides Split Tunneling functionality that allows users to control which supported applications use the VPN connection and which applications connect directly to the internet.
To provide this feature, Shieldra may access information about applications installed on your device where permitted by Android.
This information is used to:
• Display applications available for Split Tunneling
• Apply VPN routing rules selected by the user
Shieldra does not use the list of installed applications for behavioral advertising.
7. KILL SWITCH AND ALWAYS-ON VPN
Shieldra may provide VPN protection features including Kill Switch support.
On supported Android devices, Shieldra may also work with Android system VPN features such as:
• Always-on VPN
• Block connections without VPN
These features are designed to help reduce unintended network exposure when the VPN connection becomes unavailable.
Some Kill Switch functionality may depend on Android system settings and device capabilities.
8. CONNECT ON BOOT
If enabled by the user, Shieldra may attempt to restore or reconnect the VPN after the Android device restarts.
This feature is used only to provide the VPN behavior requested by the user.
9. SPEED TEST
Shieldra may provide a built-in network Speed Test.
The Speed Test may measure:
• Ping
• Jitter
• Download speed
• Upload speed
Network communication with testing infrastructure may be required to perform these measurements.
Speed Test information is used to provide network performance information to the user and improve the VPN experience.
10. WHAT'S MY IP
Shieldra may provide a "What's My IP?" feature.
This feature may display information such as:
• Your current public IP address
• Internet service provider information
