Bio: Syed Mhamudul Hasan is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Computer Science under the supervision of Dr. Abdur Rahman Bin Shahid. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). After completing his graduation, he started his IT career journey. He has been in the IT industry for over 8 years. In the beginning, he worked as a .NET developer and developed reports, desktop applications, and some mid-sized web applications for in-house use. Then he moved to different IT industries to hone his knowledge and got opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies like AngularJS, Angular 2, Ruby on Rails, PHP Laravel, and Java. After performing in some large-scale systems, he got the opportunity to work with cloud-based technology eg. AWS, and deploy a myriad of applications on the public and private cloud. In his last position, he was a DevOps engineer in Dynamic Solution Innovators for deploying a large-scale system on Kubernetes. Additionally, he has earned several professional certifications which include AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect - Associate, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+. He has been an avid learner and a technology enthusiast. Currently, he is researching on cyber security and AI-based technologies and trying to thrive in his current role.
