Hi there, I'm Shi Ding(✨Stella💫)!
I am a Ph.D. student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, under the guidance of Pro. Brian Magerko. I am also a member and research assistant at the Expressive Machinery Lab.
With a primary focus on human-computer interaction, my research seamlessly integrates insights and methodologies from various domains, including artificial intelligence, human-computer interfaces, and cognitive science. This interdisciplinary approach forms the foundation for creating novel opportunities to investigate and enhance human abilities in real-world settings.
My goal is to empower individuals to lead healthier, happier, and more creative lives, fostering emotional resilience, and enhancing learning experiences. Throughout this process, I maintain a steadfast commitment to the responsible development and ethical use of socially and emotionally persuasive technology, ensuring its positive impact on society.
