Recommendations:
Focus on High Revenue-Generating Procedures:
Urgent Care Clinic, Prenatal Visits, and Check-Ups generate the most revenue. Expanding these services helps improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality care to attract more patients.
2.Enhance Obstetric and Maternal Health Services:
Patients in the age group 31-40 account for the greatest percentage of revenue, primarily due to their spending on obstetric and maternal health services. Therefore, it is crucial to
Expand and enhance services related to prenatal and postnatal care. Ensure that facilities and staff are well-equipped to handle a high volume of these visits.
Strengthen obstetric emergency response capabilities to provide timely and effective care, reducing complications and ensuring better outcomes for mothers and babies.
3. Improve Insurance Coverage and Reimbursement:
Work on better agreements with insurance companies to increase coverage for procedures that currently have no reimbursement such as allergic disorder assessments, outpatient procedures, and psychiatric evaluations to improve insurance coverage rates.
4. Reduce Average Length of Stay:
Implement strategies to reduce the overall and admitted patient length of stay, such as improved discharge planning, patient flow optimization, and enhanced outpatient care options.
