Sheri McNair

Sheri McNair is a Certified Library Media Specialist at the James I. O’Neill High School in the Highland Falls/Ft. Montgomery CSD. She is the head of library services for the District, overseeing the library curriculum instruction Pre-K-12th grade. In addition to teaching information literacy and technology integration at the high school, she also serves on the District’s Technology Team and the Inquiry Facilitation Team. Her library transformation has been featured in Tech & Learning Magazine (How One Library Reinvented the Learning Space and Not Your Grandfather’s Library). She has taught many professional development classes to teachers and fellow librarians, including an annual 3 Day Makerspace Boot Camp and workshops on STEM Challenges and Rethinking the Library Space with co-presenter Shannon Mersand. Sheri is a member of NYSCATE, NYLA/SSL, SLMSSENY, and the Orange-Ulster Regional Library Council. She is currently the President Elect and Treasurer of SLMSSENY.
