Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-01
SHERBEAT ("the Game") respects your privacy. Offline play does not require an account. Apart from advertising, the Game does not require an internet connection and does not transmit gameplay data to the internet.
Data stored only on your device
Scores, combo records, ranks, story progress, settings (volume, latency calibration, key bindings), copies of music files you import and the charts generated from them, and drafts you create. This data stays in the Game's local folder on your device and is never uploaded. Imported music is decoded and analyzed locally on your device; the Game does not upload your songs or generated charts. Please import only music you have the right to use.
2. Advertising and consent
The Game displays one interstitial advertisement after every two completed songs, only when you leave the result screen. Players who buy the Full Unlock do not see ads. Ads are provided by Google Mobile Ads. Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent platform may process device and app information, IP address, advertising identifiers when permitted, consent choices, and ad interaction or diagnostic data to provide, measure, prevent fraud in, and personalize or limit ads as applicable. The Game asks for consent where required before requesting ads. Google privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
In-app purchase
Custom Music Import is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the platform's store (the Apple App Store on iOS/iPadOS, Google Play on Android); the Game never receives or stores any of your payment details. The unlock can be restored on devices using the same store account via Restore Purchases.
4. Removing data
Local save data can be backed up or rebuilt from Settings, and removed completely through the operating system's app-data controls or by uninstalling the Game.
Children's privacy
The Game is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Language versions
A Traditional Chinese version of this policy is available inside the game under Settings > Privacy Policy.
