This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Shepherd's Dog (the "App") handles information. The App is provided by the developer of Shepherd's Dog ("we", "us"). You can reach us at smurgia15s@gmail.com.
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or contacts, and we do not run our own servers or databases of user data. The App shows advertising through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google (and its advertising partners) may collect and process:
a device advertising identifier (Advertising ID) and similar identifiers;
general device information (device model, operating-system version, language, coarse region);
information used to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure ad performance.
The App offers optional in-app purchases (for example "Remove Ads", cosmetic skins, and coin packs). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock the item, but we do not receive or store your payment card or bank details — Google handles all payment information. If you buy Remove Ads, the App stops showing ads and stops the ad-related data collection described above.
Ad-related information is used to display advertisements, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure ad performance. We do not sell your personal information.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent and region, ads may be personalized (based on the advertising identifier and inferred interests) or non-personalized (based only on coarse, contextual signals).
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App presents a consent request through a Google-certified consent platform (Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. There you can accept or decline the use of your data for personalized advertising. Personalized ads are shown only where you have consented; otherwise you will see non-personalized ads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the App's privacy options and/or your device's ad settings.
Google's handling of data is governed by its own policies:
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are generally handled through Google and your device settings; you can also contact us and we will help where we can.
If you are a resident of a US state with applicable privacy laws (such as California), you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings, and where a consent choice is presented in the App you can decline personalized ads.
You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time under Settings › Google › Ads (Android). On newer Android versions you may also be able to delete the advertising identifier entirely.
The App is not directed to children and is not intended for children under the age required to consent to data processing in their country (for example, under 13 in the United States, or under the applicable age of digital consent in the EEA — 16 unless a lower age applies locally). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will address it.
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Any data processed for advertising or purchases is handled by Google in accordance with its policies and retention practices. Information is transmitted using encrypted connections.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
