I am fascinated, with designing and using innovative "inverted telescopes" to explore planetary and Earth interiors. My research focuses on global correlation wavefield, a recently emerging realm at the forefront of Planetary and Earth sciences. As one of the leading researchers in this domain, I have dedicated my efforts to unraveling its complexities and harnessing its vast potential to explore Planetary and Earth interiors.
I am currently an ETH Fellow at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. I earned my doctoral degree from RSES ANU in November 2022. I received AGU's SEDI Award in 2022.

Mar-2025 I have been awarded the Mertz Fellowship by the Swiss Polar Institute and the Embassy of Switzerland in Australia. The fellowship will support my research on ice quakes in glaciers and ice sheets.
Nov-2024 Our proposed research on gravitational-wave-based early warning of earthquake and tsunami received ARC Discovery Project Grant! [PIs: A/Prof. Bram Slagmolen (ANU), Prof. Phil Cummins (ANU&GA), Co-PIs: Dr Sheng Wang (ETHz), A/Prof. Masaki Ando (UTokyo)]. (Please contact us for postdoc opportunities if your are interested!)
Dec-2023 I have been selected as an ETH Fellow.
Oct-2023 I obtained the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s International Travel Grant for Early Career Scientists, ANU.
7-Sep-2023 Our recent paper on "inter-source correlation" published in JGR-SE has been featured as AGU Editor's Highlight. It is the third time for being selected for such recognition by different AGU Editors, yep, HAT TRICK!
21-Mar-2023 I am awarded the Robert Hill Memorial Prize (2022) from RSES ANU as the best graduate, as quoated, "displaying excellence in research, links to research in other disciplines, good communication skills, an emerging publication record, and the ability to communicate research to a broad audience".
15-Feb-2023 I am selected to receive the Outstanding Student Presentation Award (OSPA) for my presentation during AGU2022 Annual Meeting.
17-Dec-2022 I am happy to receive the SEDI Award from AGU. The award recognizes my contributions, as quoted, "for fundamental work on understanding Earth's coda correlation formation mechanism and application to Imaging Planetary and Earth Interiors". Exciting!
27-Oct-2022 Our recent paper on "scanning for planetary cores" published in Nature Astronomy has been featured as Nature Astronomy News & Views.
29-Sep-2022 I am selected to be one of the lucky 24 for attending the Camp for Applied Geophysics Excellence (ASEG-CAGE) 2022 in South Australia, hosted by the The Australian Society of Exploration Geophysics (ASEG) and AuScope.
5-Jan-2022 Our recent paper on "Observation of shear wave anisotropy in the Earth’s inner core" published in GRL has been featured as AGU Editor's Highlight.
28-May-2020 Our recent paper on "Global earthquake coda correlation tomography" published in JGR-SE has been featured as AGU Editor's Highlight.
