Shenandoah Knitting Guild (SKG)
The purpose of The Shenandoah Knitting Guild is to promote the continuing education of persons interested in improving their knitting skills through meetings, workshops, and networking with other knitters locally, regionally, and nationally.
Check Us Out
Check us out if you are someone considering becoming a guild member. You can join us as a guest during one of our Zoom guild meetings or Sit & Knit sessions. We would LOVE to meet you online until we can safely meet in person. Watch the video, Fascinating Fasteners, that was part of the August 2020 Day Guild meeting. This is just a slidedeck with no sound, but you will get an idea about instructional content shared by a presenter during a guild meeting. Recording of guild meetings are only available to members of the guild.
Covid 19 Impact on Guild
The guild is not meeting in person during the pandemic until we can safely do so. In the meantime, we are conducting Zoom meetings on the 2nd Friday of the month from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m.. We have also begun an evening group that meets via Zoom meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. You can attend a guild meeting as a guest or join as a member. Just use the links provided in BOLD below. When prompted for a password, type Knit to join any of our Zoom meetings. (Zoom will require passwords after September 27 for any Zoom meetings.)
