This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ShellTailora and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the application immediately. By using ShellTailora, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

3. Subscription Plans & Billing
ShellTailora offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans to access premium features:
3.1 Available Plans
Billed every 30 days. Provides full access to all premium tailoring features for one month.Monthly Subscription:
Billed every 90 days (3 months). Offers a discounted rate compared to the monthly plan.Quarterly Subscription:
Billed every 180 days (6 months). Greater savings with continued access for six months.Half-Yearly Subscription:
Billed every 365 days (12 months). Best value — maximum savings for a full year of access.Yearly Subscription:
3.2 Billing & Payment
Payments are processed securely through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store billing system, or via our integrated payment gateway.
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Charges are applied to your chosen payment method upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
We collect and store billing address information to process transactions and comply with tax regulations.
3.3 Cancellations & Refunds
You can't cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings or within the ShellTailora app.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the app store platform through which you subscribed. For direct purchases, please contact us at the email below.
We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
3.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will notify you of any price changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To create and manage your account.
To process orders, manage tailoring requests, and coordinate delivery.
To store and use your body measurements for personalised clothing recommendations.
To manage subscription plans, process payments, and send billing receipts.
4.2 Improvement & Personalisation
To personalise your experience and recommend styles, fabrics, and tailors based on your preferences.
To analyse usage patterns and improve app features, performance, and user interface.
To develop new features and services based on user feedback and behaviour.
4.3 Communication
To send transactional messages or email (order confirmations, receipts, delivery updates).
To send subscription reminders, renewal notices, and billing alerts.
To send promotional offers and newsletters (only with your consent; you may opt out anytime).
To respond to your customer support inquiries.
4.4 Legal & Security
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the rights and safety of users.
5. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, and email delivery. These partners are bound by confidentiality agreements and are permitted to use your data only as needed to provide services to us.
5.2 Tailors & Partners
When you place an order, we share relevant order details (measurements, style preferences, delivery address) with the tailor or fulfilment partner assigned to your order. We do not share financial data with tailors.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to address fraud, security, or technical issues.
5.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent in-app notice of any such change and any choices you may have.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. Specifically:
Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 2 years after account deletion for legal and audit purposes.
Measurement and order data is retained for 3 years to facilitate repeat orders and warranty-related queries.
Billing and transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations.
Usage logs and analytics data are anonymised and retained for up to 12 months.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (subject to retention obligations imposed by law). See Section 9 for how to exercise this right.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

9.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us at the address in Section 12. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
9.4 Opt-Out of Marketing
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or by updating your notification preferences in the app.
9.5 Withdraw Consent
Where processing is based on consent (e.g., location access, marketing), you may withdraw consent at any time via your device permissions or app settings without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
10. Children's Privacy
ShellTailora is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has registered on our platform, please contact us immediately.
11. International Data Transfers
ShellTailora is operated from India. If you are accessing the Service from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate measures to ensure that such transfers are carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws and that your data remains protected.
12. Third-Party Links & Services
The app may contain links to third-party websites, services, or social media platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
