About me

I am currently a junior research assistant at the Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre, directed by Prof. Virginia Yip and Prof. Stephen Matthews. I received both my B.A. and M.A. degrees in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Under the supervision of Prof. Lawrence Cheung, I completed my M.A. thesis in investigating Cantonese separable compounds. My research interests are syntax, bilingualism, and language acquisition.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I grew up speaking mainly Cantonese at home while learning English and Mandarin at school. I also speak a little Japanese and have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level N4.
