Girls (People) Just Wanna Have Fun - How the Intersectionality Wheel of Power Shapes Our Lives

In this session, we’ll explore intersectionality wheel of privileges and how our different identities—like gender, race, sexuality, and socioeconomic status—affect our lives, especially in the tech industry. I will be using the term “wheel of power,” we’ll look at how these identities can create both challenges and opportunities in our careers and personal growth. My goal is to help each participant position themselves in the wheel and recognise where their own power lies and how to use it effectively for themselves and to empower others. We’ll also talk about how to seek support from those in positions of more power, and how you can use your own power to help others along the way.
