Maintain an acceptable attendance record in keeping with school and cadet standards
Behavior must be in keeping with school and cadet standards. Major violations of school, NJROTC, and government rules wont be tolerated
Six total weeks as an Cadet Seaman Apprentice (C/SA)
Maintain an average of 80% [B-] in Naval Science
Passing four of the five main courses
Be able to (during a class period) recite from memory the 11 orders to the sentry and the SHS NJROTC Chain of Command
Know and practice proper grooming standards constant with the wear of the NJROTC uniform
Complete six total hours of community service (including previous work for C/SA)
Be able to pass a written test on NJROTC ranks
Have no more than three absences and two tardies in Naval Science during the promotion period
Have completed one semester in NJROTC
Three total weeks as a cadet Seaman (C/SN)
Maintain an average of 80% [B] in Naval Science
Passing six out of the seven total courses
Have no more than three unexcused absences and one tardy in Naval Science during the promotion period. No ISAP/ISS assignments
Be able to pass a written test on Navy Ranks
In addition to basic drill commands, be able to execute columns, Side Steps, and a Rifle Manual.
Maintain a high state of physical fitness as indicated by continuous improvement on the physical fitness test. Score satisfactory on all areas of the physical fitness test.
Participate in fundraising activities sponsored by the unit.
Belong to and participate in at least one extracurricular activity or be elected to an office in another school club, organization, or class. Must be verified by club, class, or organization sponsor/coach.
Complete 8 total hours of community service (including any previous rank requirements).
Be recommended by Squad Leader, Mustering Petty Officer, and Platoon Commander (Class Leader).
Know and practice proper grooming standards consistent with the wear of the NJROTC uniform
Have completed one semester in NJROTC with at least six total weeks as a Petty Officer Third Class (C/PO3)
Maintain an average of 86% [B] or better in Naval Science, and passing all courses
Have no more than three absences and one tardy in Naval Science during the promotion period. No ISAP/ISS assignments
Be able to execute the drill movements of Obliques and Rifle Manual. Be able to teach positions of Attention, Facing Movements, and Rest. Be able to teach positions of Attention, Facing Movements, and Rest. Be able to lead squad in close order drill under supervision of Mustering Petty Officer or Platoon Commander (Class Leader)
Be able to explain how to wear all of the uniforms issued by the unit
Must pass the physical fitness test
Participate in fundraising activities sponsored by the unit, conducted since the last promotion
Belong to and participate in at least one extracurricular activity or be elected to an office in another school club, organization, or class. Must be verified by club, class or organization sponsor/coach
Complete 20 total hours of community service (including any previous rank requirements). Conmmunity service projects must be approved by the NSI/SNSI
