I am a recipient of the 21st Presidential Science Scholarship (Undergraduate), driven by a strong passion for cancer biology, immunology, and stem cell biology.
As a biologist, I study the cancer microenvironment and the characteristics of tumors both in vivo and in vitro. My current work centers around tumor development and phenotypic traits, not only using organoid models across in vivo, in vitro, and ex vivo platforms but also Computational Biology. Through advanced 3D culture systems, I aim to bridge biological complexity with translational applications.
My research interests include:
The mechanisms by which early tumors evade immune surveillance
The 3D-layered architecture of tumors
The tumorigenic role of Stem cells
My long-term goal is to become a professor who not only contributes to the field of Immuno-oncology through pioneering research, but also mentors and inspires the next generation of scientists.
