STEPPING UP AS A LEADER ( MY PERSPECTIVE )
If I want to be seen as more of a leader, it starts with how I carry myself. I’d greet staff respectfully with something simple like “good morning” or “how was your day” to show I care and am present. I’d also respond in group chats like GroupMe to show I’m paying attention and always make sure to show up on time. Volunteering to help and actually following through is important because being dependable matters. I’d avoid gossip and laziness and try to keep things focused and positive.
I’d make sure to give credit to others when they do a good job and handle any conflicts calmly and privately. Instead of just pointing out problems, I’d try to bring solutions. Being a leader means setting the tone with your actions, staying consistent, and making people feel like they can count on you.
