Shatakshi Gupta

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Economics from the George Washington University. I have previously worked as a Consultant at The World Bank, Washington DC.

My research interests lie in Applied Microeconomics at the intersection of labor  and development economics, and on topics in policy and gender analysis.

Prior to my PhD, I completed Masters in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee; and Bachelors in Economics (with Honors) from University of Delhi, India. I have also served as a coordinator for the Gender and Economic Working Group with the Institute of New Economic Thinking- Young Scholars Initiative.
