Arriving by plane
Closest airports: Turin "Caselle" Airport (https://www.aeroportoditorino.it/it) and Milan "Malpensa" Airport (https://www.milanomalpensa-airport.com/it)
Arriving by train
Closest train station: Aosta
There is an on-going upgrade of the power lines between Torino and Aosta
https://www.lovevda.it/en/coming/by-train .
1) One way to reach Aosta Train station is via the solution provided by Trenitalia:
a regional train up to Ivrea + a bus to Ivrea-Aosta. Check the Trenitalia Website for the timetables.
Torino Porta Nuova station is the best place for going to Aosta by train.
2) There is also an option to reach Aosta via bus from Milan. You can find timetables here https://www.thetrainline.com/
