About Me

Accomplished researcher and educator with over 15 years of experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, and Nanotechnology. Expertise in nanomaterial-based solutions for water remediation, sensors and catalysis, with a strong record of publishing 40+ peer-reviewed articles, 7 book chapters, and 7 patents. Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (UK) and a life member of the Neutron Scattering Society of India. I am working as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida. Earlier, I worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, UPES, Dehradun, and as an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University, Noida. I did my M.Sc. (Chemistry) from the University of Delhi and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, USA, in Inorganic Chemistry. Later, I worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, USA, for 2 years. I have also worked as a Junior Research Fellow and as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Petroleum, CSIR, Dehradun.
