SharkNinja grill baskets are the key to mastering your outdoor cookout, and the SharkNinja 119HY600 wins because its ceramic coating handles high heat with effortless cleanup. The runner-up, the Woodfire Combo Crisper, is the smarter choice if you crave that authentic smoky flavor while cooking your sides in parallel.
• SharkNinja 119HY600 — best for family meals on the Foodi XL Pro Grill; pick this if you want a durable ceramic coating that resists sticking and cleans up instantly.
• SharkNinja Woodfire Combo Crisper — best for adding real wood-fired smoke to your air-fried sides; pick this if you own a Ninja Woodfire grill and want to infuse your food with oak or hickory notes.
• SharkNinja 110HY500 — best for users of the FG500 series grills who need a lightweight, versatile option; pick this if you prioritize even browning and quick dishwashing over heavy-duty construction.
The SharkNinja 119HY600 is designed specifically for the Foodi XL Pro Grill & Griddle Combo, fitting directly onto the main grate to revolutionize how we handle side dishes. This 2-quart crisper basket allows you to place crispy fries, roasted vegetables, or wings right next to your steaks or burgers without any cross-contamination of flavors or mess. It solves the classic outdoor cooking dilemma where you are constantly waiting for the grill to clear out before you can start heating up the rest of the meal.
What makes this unit stand out is the material science behind it. Unlike standard non-stick coatings that might wear down under intense direct flame, this basket features a ceramic coating finish. For the home cook, this means that even after charring a few burgers or roasting some asparagus, the surface remains remarkably slick. You don't need to scrub with steel wool or soak for hours; a simple rinse or a quick trip through the dishwasher is usually enough to restore it to like-new condition.
The perforated design is another critical feature that I find essential for daily use. These holes aren't just for looks; they facilitate airflow that circulates hot air around the food from all angles. This ensures that your french fries get golden and crunchy on every side, rather than just on the bottom where they touch the pan. It brings the texture of deep frying to an appliance that uses significantly less oil, letting you enjoy guilt-free comfort foods alongside your main course.
However, there is a trade-off to consider regarding compatibility. This basket is engineered exclusively for the IG600 series of grills. If you own an older model or a different line of Ninja appliances, this piece simply will not fit. While the 2-quart capacity is generous for most families, those looking to cook massive quantities of appetizers might find themselves needing to run multiple batches. Still, for the average household feeding four to six people, the ability to cook mains and sides simultaneously is a game-changer that saves both time and fuel.

The SharkNinja Woodfire Combo Crisper is a specialized tool built for the Ninja Woodfire Grill (OG700 series), and it offers something the other models cannot: genuine smoky flavor integration. While most air fryers rely on convection heat to crisp food, this basket works in tandem with the Woodfire's unique hardwood pellet system. As you air fry your sides, the smoke generated by the grill permeates the food, giving you a rich, BBQ-style taste that mimics a traditional charcoal smoker but with the convenience of modern technology.
Its 2.5-quart capacity is notably larger than the standard options, making it ideal for hosting dinner parties or feeding a hungry crowd. You can toss in a whole tray of chicken wings, a large batch of potato wedges, or even a mixed vegetable medley without worrying about crowding. The extra volume ensures that hot air can still circulate effectively, preventing sogginess while maintaining that desired crunch. It eliminates the need to cook in stages, allowing you to keep your table full and your guests happy without the constant back-and-forth to the kitchen.
The non-stick PTFE coating is robust and handles the high temperatures required for both grilling and smoking. However, the care instructions differ slightly from the ceramic-coated versions. Because of the specific materials used to withstand the intense heat and smoke environment, this basket requires hand washing only. This adds a small step to your post-meal routine, but it is a necessary compromise to preserve the longevity of the coating and ensure the basket doesn't degrade under the harsh conditions of wood-fire cooking.
I recommend this pick if you are already invested in the Woodfire ecosystem and want to maximize its unique selling point. The ability to add smoky depth to sides that would otherwise be bland is a significant upgrade. The trade-off is strictly maintenance and compatibility; if you do not have an OG700 series grill, this basket is useless to you. But for the right owner, it transforms a simple air fryer attachment into a flavor-enhancing powerhouse that bridges the gap between grilling and smoking.
The SharkNinja 110HY500 is the go-to solution for owners of the FG500, FG551, BG500, and BG550 series grills. It mirrors the functionality of the 119HY600 but is tailored to the specific dimensions and airflow dynamics of these particular units. This 2-quart combo crisper basket is designed to sit directly on the grill grate, enabling you to prepare juicy char-grilled proteins alongside perfectly crisped sides in a single session. It is a practical, no-frills accessory that focuses on getting the job done efficiently.
One of the most appealing aspects of this basket is its weight and portability. This makes it easy to lift in and out of the grill, especially when dealing with hot surfaces. The rectangular shape maximizes the surface area available on the grill grate, ensuring you utilize every inch of space. Whether you are cooking salmon fillets or thick-cut steaks, the basket provides a stable platform that keeps your food organized and prevents items from falling through the grates.
The ceramic coating on this model also promises easy cleaning, similar to the premium 119HY600 version. The perforated design ensures that heat reaches every corner of your food, promoting even browning and preventing hot spots. This is crucial for achieving that restaurant-quality finish where the exterior is seared and the interior remains tender. It effectively turns your grill into a hybrid oven, allowing you to roast vegetables and air fry potatoes without needing a separate appliance taking up counter space.
The primary limitation here is the strict requirement for FG500 series compatibility. Just like the others, it will not fit on a Woodfire or a Foodi XL Pro unless you have the specific model mentioned. Additionally, while the 2-quart size is sufficient for most dinners, larger gatherings might require you to manage two smaller batches rather than one large one. Despite these constraints, it remains a solid, reliable choice for anyone looking to expand their cooking capabilities within the confines of their specific grill model.

No, these are precision-engineered accessories designed specifically for the grates of compatible Ninja electric and wood-fire grills. They will not fit securely on standard charcoal grates.
The ceramic-coated models like the 119HY600 and 110HY500 are generally dishwasher safe, but the Woodfire Combo Crisper requires hand washing to protect its specific non-stick coating. Always check the care instructions for your specific model.
These baskets are designed to sit on the grill grate, utilizing the grill's heating elements to cook. They are not intended to be placed inside the dedicated air fryer drawer of the appliance.
The 2.5-quart Woodfire model offers more volume for cooking larger portions of sides simultaneously, whereas the 2-quart models are optimized for standard family-sized portions of mains and sides.
