Now, I am working on fishes of clupeids (Clupeiformes: Clupeidae) & Anchovies (Clupeiformes: Engraulidae) from Bangladesh. And identify of these species on the basis of morpho-taxonomy and DNA barcoding.

Using of DNA barcode method to confirm species level discrimination of the identified species. In addition, Radiography via x-rays is regarded as one of world-wide technologies that has much value in taxonomy and morphological studies of fishes. Sometimes it’s very difficult to count the number of fin rays and spine which is an important meristic character of fish. By using radiography, number of fin rays and spines can be counted more easily and accurately. As well, a briefly differentiation among Tenualosa.Ilisha; Tenualosa.toli and Hilsa.kelee. In future, I want to be a fish taxonomist and serve our nation in the field of fish taxonomy.
