1. OVERVIEW
"Share Location" is a safety application designed for children to share
their current location with parents and make emergency calls. This privacy
policy explains what data we handle and how.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
• Location Data: Used ONLY on the device to share your current position when
you manually tap the "Share Location" button. We never track your location
in the background or send it to any server.
• Phone Numbers: Contact numbers (Mom, Dad, Police) are stored LOCALLY on
your device in the app's settings. They are never transmitted anywhere.
• Purchase Data: In-app purchases are processed entirely through Google Play
Billing. We do not store your payment information.
3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
✗ No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number of the user)
✗ No analytics or usage tracking
✗ No advertising data
✗ No server-side storage of any information
✗ No third-party data sharing
4. PERMISSIONS EXPLANATION
The app requests the following permissions:
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Purpose: To determine your current GPS position when you tap the
"Share Location" button. Used only on-demand, never in background.
• INTERNET
Purpose: Required by Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases.
No user data is transmitted over the internet.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is designed with children's safety in mind. We comply with COPPA
(Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations:
• No personal data is collected from children
• No advertising is shown
• No user accounts are required
• All data stays on the child's device
6. DATA SECURITY
All data (phone numbers, settings, PIN codes) is stored locally on your
device using Android's SharedPreferences. You can delete all data at any
time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in device settings.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app uses:
• Google Play Services (for location services)
• Google Play Billing (for in-app purchases)
Both services have their own privacy policies available at google.com/policies
8. DATA RETENTION
No data is retained after app uninstallation. All local data is removed
automatically when the app is deleted from your device.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
• Access your data (it's on your device)
• Delete your data (uninstall the app)
• Contact us with any privacy concerns
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an
updated "Last updated" date.
