I am a subscriber and have multiple light groups. I am concerned that before purchasing all the lights I researched your help site and found the post below, but found it to be untrue once I purchased and installed my ligths. One would go as far as saying it is false advertising and who knows how many customers would then be returning their lights for refund. This issue must be addressed promptly.

Can I share control of Groups with other people on my Ring app?

Yes. The amount of control they have over the Group depends on their Role. The abilities each Role has are listed below:

At Ring we are always working to improve and add to our devices and features. For this reason, there are various grouping, linking, and sharing features available for different devices. You might see this referenced in different help center articles, in order to cover the many possibilities that can be obtained. As all Ring devices have the ability to be linked in one way or another, many options can be controlled through these settings such as Alarm linking to trigger a Camera recording during an emergency signal or Smart Lighting activating from a Video Doorbell motion event. As some Ring Cameras feature built in lights and light linking options (not related to Smart Lighting), this will also be mentioned as an option.

Hey neighbors. Shared Users do not yet have the ability to access Ring Smart Lights or Light Groups. This is a popular feature request that you can vote for and add interest to here. Thank you for adding value to this feature request.

I have doorbell set to record when lights detect motion. I get a message that the lights detected motion. However, since I cannot share the smart lights with my wife, she does not get notified, and also cannot control the lights.

As we are not always together, she is at a disadvantage because of this. PLEASE add sharing to smart lights.

You could add a rule "Date added is after ..." to the smart albums, so you will find the new photos in one place. Or add a keyword "Shared" to each photo you share in your albums, and a dd a rule "Keyword is not Shared" to your smart albums.

Develops shared housing projects, including the Waterman Village, a neighborhood of 20 affordable small homes surrounding a historic adobe in downtown San Luis Obispo, now in development. Learn more.

Susan must work full-time, even at 75 years-old. She has spent her entire life in San Luis Obispo County and has been working since she was 16 years-old. Here is her story, and why she would love to live in a tiny house, in her own words.

In a system as complex as housing, there is not a single solution to balancing supply and demand. As a local non-profit, Smart Share Housing Solutions can get donations and grants to test out new ideas for housing that other investors or developers might pass over because they are unproven, or viewed as risky. Smart Share Housing Solutions thinks outside the box about how to make best use of existing infrastructure and buildings. Some ideas that we are pursuing or investigating include:

Our goal is systems change as well as direct service provision. It can take years to see the results of efforts at systems change; it's not as simple as counting the number of clients we've helped. We're grateful for the long-term vision of those who join with us in our efforts.

Smart Share Housing Solutions, a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, develops innovative housing solutions that add to the stock of attainable, sustainable housing. We are a 501(c)(3) public benefit non-profit corporation. Our Federal I.D. number is EIN# 82-3151265. Smart Share Housing Solutions is a member of the National Shared Housing Resource Center and currently operates three programs.

HomeShareSLO: Facilitates matches between home providers (people with an extra room) and home seekers (those looking for a home). It helps provide affordable housing with existing resources, allows for aging-in-place, builds community and empowers community members.

ADU SLO: Works to educate and inspire people around options for smaller, simple living options that add to our affordable housing stock. New state rules allowing ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Unit) on most single-family residential lots create opportunity for home providers to become part of the solution by building a new separate living space in their backyard, converting an existing garage to living space, or carving out a separate suite inside the home. Tiny House On Wheels (THOWs) in backyards, currently allowed only in SLO City and Arroyo Grande, are part of this mix of small, affordable-by-design dwellings. These spaces create family flexibility and can provide income through long term rental. ADU SLO is working with a regional ADU task force to educate the community and encourage production of these smaller homes in SLO County.

Co-Living Collaborative: Aims to expand housing options through development of affordable, eco-minded shared living created by converting existing commercial spaces such as older motels and bed and breakfast inns to co-living centers with a mix of shared and private spaces. The program has been evaluating potential projects since 2017. In addition to creating needed housing for lower income renters in SLO County, the goal is to create a model for such conversions that can be replicated in other communities. Our newest Co-Living Collaborative project is the Waterman Village,  a neighborhood of 20 affordable small homes surrounding a historic adobe in downtown San Luis Obispo, now in development.

Once you share a smart file with a client, they'll always have access the client portal as long as they're a part of that project. Learn more about the client experience with the client portal.

If you're sending via email, the to field will pull in all existing project participants, but you can add other recipients by clicking the plus button. Just be aware that adding an email address here will also add that person as a participant to the project as a whole.

There are two other ways to share your file under the Send drop-down. You can schedule the smart file and email to send at a later date and time, or send a test to yourself to review before sending to your client.

The To field will pull in all existing project participants, but you can add other recipients by clicking the plus button. Just be aware that adding an email address here will also add that person as a participant to the project as a whole.

A direct link will be generated, based on your customized client portal URL, that you can copy and share with the project participants however you'd like. Any project participant who receives the link will be able to access the file and take action on it; the project participants will also see the sent file within their client portal.

If you have other folks who need to be in the know but don't need to take action on the file, you can turn view-only file sharing ON. When toggled ON, you and the project participants will be able to copy the view-only link to the file. Recipients of the view-only link can view the file without taking actions, and won't see project files or details.

It has always been the same way! When you open regular Dropbox link in non preview mode (e.g. to download the content or in inline/raw mode), new temporary link gets generated and the former link redirect to the new one. This is the way the links (either new or old style links - with or without rlkey) has always worked. The new (temporary) link expire after few hours, as you have found already. Every time you open the former link, new temporary link is generated (on rapid succession they may coincide). So to avoid expiring, you need to pass the former link with changed dl=0 to raw=1 as is, not as resulted in the web browser (after redirect to temporary)! Let you TV generate temporary link whenever opens the former link there; so everytime the temporary link will be valid.

But now I want to share these 2 devices' locations with my wife. She also has a Samsung phone A34. I followed some guides on the web but it does not seem to work. Could somebody give me a link to the correct method? 152ee80cbc
