I've created the most efficient builders I can so far, and I don't want to be repeating stuff I've already created before. I'm into computing and want to create an anything machine with simple user-friendly inputs. I was wondering if someone had a full save I could use. Everything could be wiped from the map. Just need the unlocks.

I add a toolbar to draw shapes/points on the map that is addDrawToolbar in the leaflet.extras package. That lets users to draw lines, shapes, ... interactively. In the end I want one to be able to save the map with the drawn shapes as a pdf or png.

But Here is something interesting.

If the Point Shape is Added successfully using cmAddShape( which does not save) but, when I Select the EditShape Button and Click on the Newly Added Point, or move the point around, the Newly Created Point is SAVED! But the EditShape interactive Editing position of the New Point is NOT Saved. The Point goes back to the point where it was created.

Why is New Point Saved ONLY after cmEdit tool is used to select the new point?

What you are doing is Saving prior to actually making the edit. This event handler sets up the edit, then saves the shapefile (to disk), after which you are then making your edit. So if at that point, you say you are refreshing the map (do you mean that you reload from disk?) If so, I believe that you are reloading the pre-edited shapefile.

You should perhaps have a separate Save button, in which you call _shpfile.Save(). All adds, edits and deletes are taking place in memory, and you can also undo; and you can click the Save button occasionally when you want to save your changes to disk.

Hello, @jerryfaust Everything works like a charm with the separate Save button. However, the Save Edit Attributes does not overwrite the Shapefile being editied, but saves smoothly in a different location. I could live with that. Once more thank you very much.

To work with the old local methods local is being depricated, but not removed.:type name_html: str@param name: name of the file to save the graph as.@param local: Depricated parameter. Used to be used to determine how the graph needs deploy. Has been removed in favor of using the class cdn_resources instead.@param notebook: If true, this object will return the iframe document for use in juptyer notebook.@param open_browser: If true, will open a web browser with the generated graph.

My question this time is about a request. I need to create an elevation profile and I know I can do that in QGIS 2.4.0 or ArcGIS 10.2. But first I need elevation data, information that is in AutoCAD extension (.dwg, I presume) and when I use data-> export data and then save it as .shp I don't get elevation information. So I need to extrack the contourlines only or at least with elevation data per line. e24fc04721
