Welcome to Dr. Shaopeng Li's Website

I am an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. 

My research goal is to integrate numerical and experimental approaches for enhancing resilience and sustainability of civil infrastructure under changing climate. Currently, my focus is on wind hazards (e.g., hurricanes and thunderstorms), community resilience and machine learning.
