For the first time ever...

Entries are invited for the first ever Wellington Sea Shanty Showdown!  Gather a crew of fellow Wellington Region-based high school students and record (video) yourselves singing TWO sea shanties unaccompanied (a capella). 

Instruments are not permitted; the judges are looking for the group singing energy that kept a ship's crew working together in the days of old. 

Final date for entries is October 1, 2026.
