This project was developed and submitted to The Great Mind Challenge (TGMC) 2011, a Nation-wide technical competition conducted by IBM Academic Initiative.
It was selected as one of the 474 finalists from a total of 53349 submitted projects all over India.
This was my second participation in TGMC when I was doing PG.
About:
An online web-portal where blood banks and hospitals can look for donors in their near by area who will be available in quick time . The portal also keeps record of donors health report to evaluate quickly.

Top Functionalities:
Smart Application to choose 3 random donors based on their frequency of donation
Blood Request can be made individually for future needs to the administrator
Search based on Region, City, District, State and also Agency Wise
An intra-search is introduced for every agency that is registered.
Blood Banks , hospitals, clinics can browse for blood donors in their near by area and also the search result would provide only those donors who have not donated blood in last 3 months
Blood donors would be asked to give feedback of the health report of donors (on basis of their blood taken), for future consideration after the blood donation is being made by donor.
