Laboratory for Neuronal Innervation & Drug Delivery

Welcome to the Shankarappa Lab, an academic research laboratory located at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) in Bengaluru, India. Our lab specializes in neuroscience and drug delivery research. We conduct experiments and analyze data to understand the role of the nervous system in tissue regeneration. We are also involved in developing nanoparticle systems for axon-targeted drug delivery. Shankarappa lab was previously located at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi campus. We have moved to RUAS in the beginning of 2024.
