Assess the efficacy of Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted PAMAM dendrimers using photoacoustic (PA) imaging to enhance cancer detection and image-guided interventions. The primary objective of this project is to compare the performance of different types of contrast agents and model their PA excitation intensity under various conditions. In vivo tumor-induced mice were employed to evaluate the performance of the agents. Additionally, this project investigated a novel approach to quantify the contrast agent by employing multi-reference spectroscopic decomposition.
