Bonjour! I am Shaikat Das Joy, currently working as a lecturer in the Computer Science Department at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

Let me give you a quick rundown of my journey. I earned my Master's in Technology (M.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar in Punjab. For my Master's program, I received a full free scholarship from ICCR for 2021-2023. During my Master's, I was involved in a project called AWaDH, funded by the Indian Government. I worked on Agriculture news analysis and classification. Our work was published at the ICA23 international conference, and I Bagged the 2nd Best Paper award at this conference.

Now, let's rewind a bit. I did my B.tech at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in Vellore, in CSE, with a Specialization in Information Security. But my roots are in Chittagong, Bangladesh. So I've got a bit of a multi-country academic thing going on.

One of my favorite pastimes is traveling, and I try to explore new places whenever I get a chance. Another hobby of mine is sketching. I enjoy capturing the beauty of the world around me through art, and I find that sketching allows me to express my creativity in a unique way.

Overall, I am passionate about learning and growing both personally and professionally. I am always eager to take on new challenges and explore new opportunities, and I am excited to see where my journey takes me next.
