I am Shahrzad Haddadan, currently a postdoctoral researcher at Brown university, honored to be working under supervision of Professor Eli Upfal. Here, I am a part of the BIGDATA group in the CS department as well as the Data Science initiative.

Before Brown, I was a postdoctoral researcher at university of Rome, working under supervision of Professor Flavio Chierichetti; followed by a few months at the Max Planck institute of informatics as a guest researcher.

Education:

I finished my PhD in theoretical Computer Science at Dartmouth College where I had the honor to work under the supervision of Professor Peter Winkler. My PhD thesis is titled "Algorithmic Problems Arising in Posets and Permutations". I received my Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
