Research interests:

My research program concentrates on the mathematical modeling of challenging situations arising in the analysis of big data by employing combinatorial and statistical tools; the goal of such mathematical modeling is the development of rigorous algorithms in complex situations. I pursue this agenda in the following directions.

(1) The Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, Analyses of algorithms in non-i.i.d. regimes.

(2) Mathematical modeling of big data problems in discrete domains which lead to the development of rigorous algorithms.
