Shahan HR is the human resources application provided by Shahan Company for its employees. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use the app.
This app is intended for Shahan Company employees and authorized personnel only. Access requires a company-issued account. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Account & Personal Information
Information associated with your employee account, which may include:
Name and employee identifier
Email address
Phone number
Profile photo (if provided)
Work-related details such as department, shift assignments, and role
2. Location Information
To support attendance check-in and check-out, the app collects your device's location at the moment you check in or out. This is used to verify that you are within your assigned work zone (geofence). We do not track your location continuously or in the background, and we do not collect location data when you are not performing an attendance action.
3. Attendance, Leave & HR Records
Data you generate through normal use of the app, including:
Check-in and check-out times and locations
Leave requests and any documents or images you attach to them
Approval status and workflow history
Payroll and compensation information shown to you within the app
4. Device & Push Notification Data
To deliver notifications (for example, when a leave request is approved), we collect a push notification identifier and basic device information such as device type, operating system, and app version. Push notifications are handled through our notification service provider.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following cases:
Within Shahan Company: with authorized HR staff and managers as required to operate HR processes such as approving leave and reviewing attendance.
Service providers: with trusted providers who support the app (for example, notification delivery and hosting), who are bound to protect your data.
Legal reasons: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.
Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, with continued privacy protections.
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
We retain your information for as long as your employee account is active or as needed to fulfill HR, legal, and record-keeping obligations. When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

To request deletion of your account or associated data, please email info@shahancompany.com. Because this is an employer-provided app, some records may be retained where required for legal or employment-related purposes. We will explain any such retention when we respond to your request.
This app is intended for use by employees and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
