Shadman Sakib is a Documentary Photographer based in Dhaka. Specializing in research-oriented photography, his lens serves as a powerful instrument for exploration, providing a voice to marginalized communities and shedding light on their unique stories. For an extended period, he has immersed himself in the tribal community of North Bengal, fostering a deep connection that transcends the boundaries of a mere observer. Through his lens, he captures the nuances of their lives, preserving cultural heritage and documenting the challenges faced by these communities.  

 

In addition to his significant work with the tribal community, Shadman’s lens extends to the border region of India and Bangladesh. His ongoing research in this dynamic area reflects a commitment to unraveling the complex stories of those living in the borderlands.

 

Shadman’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for his career. He successfully completed his graduation from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, a prestigious institution known for nurturing creative minds in the realm of media and visual arts.
