We recommend registering over the phone, rather than through the state exam website. You will find the name and phone number of your area's state exam testing center on the License Coach “welcome email”. When you call to schedule your Life & Health Exam, remember to ask if the testing center requires you to be fingerprinted before taking your exam. Inquire about anything you should bring to your exam, such as specific IDs

This can vary, but most states use NIPR. Also, some states allow you to apply for your license before taking your state exam!
Go to NIPR.com and click "Apply for License"
Choose "Resident Licensing"
Select your State and click "Apply Here"
Select "Individual" and follow the instructions.
